Vacation

A few weeks ago Jason had a week off of work and since we couldn't go back to Indiana we spent most of this vacation at home. Which usually means that nothing exceptional happens other than trying to get ahead with our cleaning, and school work. But this year we decided to have a mini vacation close to home- we decided to rent a cabin on the lake. So with the help of craigslist we found this little gem somewhere close to sandpoint...

This is the view from the row boat that came with the house. The house was great, mostly kid friendly except for the spiral staircase, and the bed pushed up to the half wall in the loft. The trampoline was a hit as well as the toy area. And if it wasn't the wettest two days in my entire idaho experience we probably would have enjoyed the hot tub and lake.

The fishing was fun if not fruitful. Jared really impressed me with his patience for the sport, he spent hours trying to catch something. The only one who caught anything was our friend Jeremy with his quick wit and hands managed to capture a bothersome house fly which he released unharmed outside.

The kids loved tossing rocks into the water. Over all it was a grand time, the kids played well together, the food was great, the weather was the only thing I would change...I look forward to more Bryson-Smith Adventures (somewhere close to sandpoint).
