Nathan's Story

Well we are finally catching up on our sleep and I thought I would let you all know how everything went. Nathan had sort of a rough start. He had his cord wrapped around his neck, torso, and leg, he was also sunnyside up as they call it, instead of face down which makes it very difficult for him to come out, so they had to use suction to help him along. Which made a large turtle shell looking bruise on the top of his head. It is almost completely gone now and we fought off the jaundice that he was getting because of the bruise. So he had kind of a rough birth, and they think it kind of put him in shock, so he spent the first 5 hours in the nursery with daddy by his side on an IV and oxygen.

But he finally came around and we got to go home on time and he seems to be doing really well. He is a mellow baby doesn't get bothered by much and can sleep through brothers loud playing.
